prayer requests

Sunday - 8AM Sunday School, 10AM Worship Service | Wednesday - 7PM Small Groups

pLease join us in prayer for the following...

Hurricane Ida — Pray for people in the path of this horrific storm, particularly our people in Mississippi and Louisiana.

Waverly Church — Please pray for Pastor Daron (Katie) and their team as they cope with the effects of epic flooding. The final death toll stands at 20. Our people in Waverly are not only dealing with the damage to their own church and to the homes of the members, but are also reaching out to the community in incredible ways to bring Christ’s love to others who are hurting. Pray and give.

We’re grateful for the outpouring of love and support shown to both Waverly and CGC.

COVID — Once again there is an increase in the number of people who have COVID-19. Some of our pastors and church leaders are now battling with the virus. Please pray for each other.

Afghanistan — Please pray for the people in this nation and for all who are in harm’s way. Please pray for our veterans who may be dealing with the trauma, PTST, and other mental health issues as a result of their service in Afghanistan and how the current events could be triggering destructive mental and emotional issues. There are many veterans, especially those who served over there who could be in vulnerable and dangerous places mentally and emotionally as a result. See the end of this email for a list of resources for our veterans.
